Finally, a skid plate worthy of the Kove 800. Our UHMW skid plate is thermoformed from 3/8″ (9.5mm) thick Billet UHMW plastic, a material that outperforms aluminum and even carbon steel in real-world trail conditions. No cracks, no punctures, no excuses.

2024-2026 KOVE 800 Skidplate
I love the look and I know how good your stuff. My buddies all recommended and use your gear. For my Kove 800 rally I would say the fitment could use a slight adjustment. The right hand upper mounting bracket is touching my coolant hose. This could cause a friction/cutting/coolant leak over time. I would also recommend a better and/or more heat tape because the exhaust is really close to the skid plate. The tape provided doesn’t provide enough protection from the hot exhaust. Some of the tape provided has already become unstuck from the skid plate. For the slight issues above I gave the product a 4 out of 5.
Great skid plate! I slid across some gnarly sandstone this weekend on the Kove 800 and it took a monster hit landing in some chunky looseness after a surprise drop on Lockhart. And it protects more with less weight! Great service and product.
